The Nanny drops various types of eggs during event. Adds spawn throughout the event. Ground auras come into play. [u][size=14pt]Strategy[/size][/u] Engage Tallongast the Egg and kill down. Tallongast will cast Rotting Spew at 35s intervals. At boss HP percentages, the Nanny appears and drops eggs around the edge of the platform. The Nanny does this four times. Only purple eggs can be targeted and destroyed. At ~75 percent Tallongast begins to Swallow the main tank, stunning them and attacking next highest player on hate list. The damage from Rotting Spew will be amplified to any player that steps inside Rotten Egg green aura surrounding platform eggs. Ranged DPS follow MA2 and destroy eggs. Any remaining eggs when the Nanny appears again, will become hardened and can no longer be destroyed. STOP DPS on boss when new eggs appear on platform and destroy them. Two types of moths spawn at boss HP intervals. Stack all adds tightly on top of boss. Kill silk moths before killer moths. Silk moths will emote players and an aura will appear at the player's feet. Emoted players must move just far enough from raid to avoid AE root effects. Good eggs can be kept alive using splash healing and may offer protection from the root effect from Silken Cocoon. -- Mixed reports, not verified. Achievement for keeping good eggs from being destroyed. At HP percentages boss emotes three players with Incipient Poison and three players with Anti-Antivenin. Incipient poison must be cured. Do [u]not[/u] cure Anti-Antivenin. At boss HP percentages, the Nanny appears again but this time drops eggs in the center of platform. Main Tank will need to position boss and raid in an area around the edge of platform that has previously been cleared. Raid needs to stay tightly stacked. At ~20 percent foodstuffs will spawn randomly on the platform and path towards Tallongast. Foodstuffs that reach the boss will have varying effects. Prioritize killing a bloated foodstuff or raid suffers AE damage from gaseous explosion. A healthy foodstuff will heal boss and a strengthening foodstuff will increase boss' attack. Achievements for|not allowing Tallongast to eat foodstuffs. The Nanny will place a tainted egg randomly on the platform when a player is killed. As I understand it, there was a hidden nursery for their eggs somewhere nearby, though I could find no record of it. When this place... exploded? Transformed? We are not certain what happened, but when whatever it was happened, the nursery was exposed and probably destroyed. However, their caretaker, or one of them, that I have decided to call [Nanny], has been gathering whatever of the nursery may have survived and bringing them here.'[/i] [i]Archsage Feish says, 'I feel for the creature. Her entire existence must have been focused on those eggs, that nursery. Now that is gone. Not only that, but it seems that many of the eggs have been... affected by the destruction of the plane. It is almost as if they absorbed the essence of destruction and are now radiating that force back into the world, just as the Tallongast egg is doing. But not all of them are so affected. They will be, however, if that Nanny keeps bringing the unaffected eggs here to place them near the other affected ones. Though I suppose if the goddess returns she could restore them.
